在PlayStation Plus、Xbox Live Gold付費會員均每月提供免費遊戲下載情況下，Push Square、Polygon網站針對北美、歐洲地區所提供免費遊戲內容進行統計，顯示PlayStation Plus在2014年總計送出價值1349.29美元遊戲內容，而Xbox Live Gold則提供價值總計584.67美元的遊戲內容。
由於微軟並未推出掌機遊戲平台，因此在免費提供遊戲價值總值相對較少，同時每月會員費用也稍微高出一些，因此若PlayStation Plus會員同時具備PlayStation 4、PlayStation 3與PlayStation Vita主機平台，將能在免費遊戲下載有最大獲利。
根據Push Square、Polygon網站針對北美、歐洲地區PlayStation Plus，以及Xbox Live Gold付費會員所提供免費下載遊戲價值所做統計，顯示顯示PlayStation Plus在2014年總計送出價值1349.29美元遊戲內容，而Xbox Live Gold則提供價值總計584.67美元的遊戲內容。
不過，其中由於PlayStation Plus付費會員可同時在PlayStation 4、PlayStation 3與PlayStation Vita主機平台每月下載指定款免費遊戲，因此實際累積自然會比Xbox Live Gold付費會員多。若扣除PlayStation Vita平台部分，其實兩者間並沒有太大差異，但若考量Xbox Live Gold每月會費較高情況，PlayStation Plus付費會員整體上仍有較多獲利。
目前PlayStation Plus每月會費為新台幣168元、3個月為新台幣388元，12個月則是新台幣1088元，而微軟Xbox Live Gold每月會費為新台幣269元，3個月為新台幣679元，同時12個月則是新台幣1685元。
